1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Alfalah Diagnostic Labs regarding your access to and use of our web portal, mobile app, laboratory investigation services, home phlebotomy visits, and Health Store purchases. By registering, booking, or using our platform, you signify your acceptance of these terms.

2. Medical & Clinical Disclaimer

Please carefully observe the following clinical terms:

• Diagnostic Aids Only: Laboratory test results, reference ranges, and pathological interpretations provide biochemical and clinical data to assist qualified healthcare practitioners. They do not constitute standalone clinical diagnoses.
• Mandatory Physician Correlation: You must share and correlate all laboratory reports with your attending physician or qualified doctor for appropriate diagnosis and treatment planning. Never alter medication doses or initiate therapy based solely on raw laboratory values.
• Emergency Situations: The Alfalah Labs platform is not intended for urgent or acute life-threatening medical emergencies. If you require immediate emergency care, please visit your nearest hospital emergency department.

3. Patient Booking & Preparation Protocols

When booking lab investigations or home sampling:

• Accuracy of Profile Information: You are responsible for ensuring that the patient's biological sex, age, and clinical notes are accurate, as biological reference ranges and pathology interpretation depends strictly on these factors.
• Fasting & Preparation: Certain tests require strict patient preparation (such as 10–12 hours fasting for Lipid Profiles or Fasting Blood Sugar, water intake for renal scans, or withholding specific medications). Alfalah Lab bears no liability for unrepresentative results arising from non-compliance with preparation instructions.
• Home Sampling Visits: Phlebotomists follow strict sterile collection protocols. Patients must ensure a safe, accessible environment for sample collection.

4. Health Store & Prescription Uploads

For products and devices purchased through the Health Store:

• Valid Prescriptions: Prescription-only pharmaceuticals will only be dispensed upon validation of an authentic, legible prescription issued by a PMDC-licensed medical practitioner.
• Pricing & Taxes: All prices are displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) inclusive of applicable taxes. In the event of price fluctuations or stock shortages, our support team will contact you prior to order dispatch.

5. Account Security & Biometrics

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and OTP access. If you activate biometric authentication (fingerprint / Face ID), ensure that only your personal biometric credentials are registered on the device. Promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Lahore, Punjab.
